Medical Flight Service Terms & Conditions

Please note that the following terms outline the key considerations and requirements for availing medical flight services:

All flight durations and costs are indicative and based on ideal operating conditions. Final billing will be calculated from the time of engine start to engine shutdown. Flight schedules and pricing may vary due to patient condition, medical crew coordination, air traffic, weather conditions, and other operational or regulatory factors. Medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) and patient transfer flights are subject to availability of medical crew, aircraft readiness, and necessary clearances from relevant aviation and health authorities. Delays may occur due to factors beyond control such as airport restrictions, permits, or adverse weather.

It is the responsibility of the booking party to provide accurate medical reports, patient condition details, and required documentation in advance. Incomplete or inaccurate information may lead to delays or cancellation. The operator reserves the right to modify or cancel any scheduled medical flight if safety, airworthiness, or patient condition is compromised.

  • Operational Hours & Extensions: Any charges levied by authorities for operations outside standard hours will be borne by the client.
  • Accommodation & Transportation: Medical crew accommodation will be arranged as per service requirements, prioritizing comfort and proximity to the airport.
  • Aircraft Maintenance: Medical aircraft and helicopters are maintained according to regulatory standards; major maintenance may require repositioning to the base facility.
  • Fuel & Logistics: Costs related to fuel positioning and transportation logistics are the responsibility of the client.
  • Helipad Preparation & Safety: Temporary helipads must comply with applicable DGCA and health authority guidelines; safety at the site is the client’s responsibility.
  • Baggage Allowance: Limited baggage allowance applies, considering medical equipment needs and patient comfort; specific limits will be communicated during booking.
  • Landing Permissions: Clients must secure all necessary permissions for landing, including coordination with authorities and private property owners.
  • Helipad Security & Flight Restrictions: The client is responsible for securing helipad sites. Medical flights follow strict operational protocols, with no routine IFR or night flights unless authorized.
  • Flight Program Submission: Detailed flight schedules and medical requirements must be submitted in advance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Refueling Arrangements: Clients must ensure that refueling logistics are arranged at least 24 hours prior to flight operations.
